Second graders have completed the following scavenger hunt in their classroom or in the computer lab. They have worked cooperatively in small groups or pairs to find the following information.   1. Rocks are constsntly forming, wearing down (eroding), and forming again very slowly. This is called:

  4. What is really fine powder that is mixed in with sand and soil?
